INFORM® Training
The INFORM® System is extremely intuitive and easy to use. If a user is familiar with how to
use a web browser, the person will be able to learn basic navigation through the system in a couple of hours.
The system has been designed with ease of use in mind. Many processes are wizard-based so that the user is guided
through the process of creating resources, assignments, lesson plans, etc.
Training occurs through a guided and facilitated approach in a face-to-face, hands-on environment initially. The training is outcome based and participants are actively engaged in real world applications throughout each session. Other training is available through CDs, training manuals, online request and help-desk approaches. On-going training is also available through CDs and text material. EDmin.com also has a Help Desk to provide customer service, and a Client Services Request Form that is an electronic tracker for districts to enter their requests and follow the status of work.
All of EDmin.com's training is based on a "train-the-trainer" approach so that a core group of people are thoroughly trained and capable of functioning in "early adopter" roles so as to mentor, coach and guide the training for other individuals located at their respective sites. This model ensures that local capacity growth is not inhibited by dependency upon a third party to provide training and support services.
INFORM® System training is targeted for three distinct staff groups:
