| Technology Use Planning
If education planning is to be successful, it is both time and resource intensive. Good planning processes engage a broad cross-section of stakeholders, thus helping to ensure successful implementation of the product or service.
The products of technology use planning efforts can contribute significantly to other planning efforts, such as strategic planning, school improvement, or technology planning. When all planning efforts are appropriately considered, the result should be alignment of all district-wide planning documents. These connections build strategic alliances within the organization and provide a strong foundation for success.
Our professional planning staff assists schools/districts with technology planning in many ways because we:
- Provide recommendations for District standards, including:
- Capabilities for telecommunications services
- Connectivity services
- Internet Access
- Work with leaders of technology planning to coordinate and support technology-planning efforts with entire staff to ensure plan's success.
- Review existing technology plans and provide technology plan analysis, including recommendations for conformance with E-Rate and/or state guidelines.
