Reporting

Best Practices

Looking ahead

INFORM® enables teachers to see a performance profile of new classes as they plan for a new year, and then constantly monitor the progress of every student as the year progresses. They can capture multiple measures of student performance and summarize data quickly with color coding.

After Harford County Public Schools  in Maryland began using INFORM, educators had the right tool to convert data into educator knowledge.

“INFORM provides a common means for accessing data to support consistent analysis across the school system.”

“Our data-based instructional strategies were proven effective, but impossible to implement at the scope and scale needed without a technology solution. Now we can focus on the people side of effective use of data to improve learning.”

A better way to view student progress

INFORM® serves as the primary reporting tool for any type of achievement data, including high stakes state tests and district benchmark test results. In addition to tracking student achievement at the classroom level, INFORM can show student progress from any type of indicator.  For example, INFORM’s Multiple Measures enables school to track student progress in a single view from:

  • High stakes state summative tests
  • District benchmark formative assessments (even from third party vendors)
  • Classroom performance
  • Attendance
  • Report card grades
  • Interventions
  • Any other type of performance indicator the district wishes to track

INFORM’s data is easy to use and powerful.  Reporting is shown in dashboard, tabular, and graphical formats that display longitudinal, comparative, predictive and trends analysis functionality. Color-coded results enable users to easily group, rank and sort students so that teachers can quickly see the learning levels in each classroom.  Colorful graphs enable users to quickly identify each student in every performance level and drill down to resources aligned with performance results.

The instructional management component of INFORM enables districts to store resources aligned to standards and easily create, file, retrieve and administer resources to entire classrooms, groups of students, or an individual student in need of remediation.

INFORM’s classroom management component also enables districts to track interventions and determine their effectiveness for RTI tracking and compliance reporting.

INFORM is integrated with IDMS® Test Builder, so districts will automatically be able to receive updated rosters and results generated by assessments.

INFORM serves as the driver for all reporting needs in the INFORM® Learning System. The INFORM program may also be purchased as a stand-alone application.
