The Position

This role will be responsible for application design and development in a product development environment. The PHP Developer supports existing applications and develops new features. Responsibilities include design, development, testing and support.

Position Duties:

• BS/MS Degree (Engineering, and/or Computer Science preferred)
• 5+ years experience developing and designing enterprise applications
• Recent major project experience should include hands-on development of scalable n-tier web applications utilizing PHP, Web Services and SOA architecture
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience
• Strong PostgreSQL and MySQL database development skills
• Position is based in San Diego, CA

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience using memcached
• CSS, XSLT, XML, AJAX (Dojo Toolkit), JavaScript
• Familiarity with the SCORM, GEMs, and SIF standards
• Subversion (or similar version control software)
• Linux system administration
