Sandra Schugren

With 30 years of experience in management  positions, Sandra Schugren has worked in both the public and private sectors. She has overseen the administration of several urban public libraries in the Seattle area, served as Director of Technology in a large school district and worked as a consultant to plan and develop information systems for a number of businesses.

As a founding member of EdGate in 1997, she served as Vice President of Product Development. She directed the development of products such as Personal Edition and the Curriculum Matrix™, and she directed the content development for Community Education Gateway. In 2005, she managed the development of a new division, EdGate Correlation Services, LLC, which works primarily with publishers in the area of alignment services.

Ms. Schugren has a Master’s degree in Information Science and a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington with an undergraduate degree in Foreign Languages from Western Washington University.
