A panel of judges with expertise in a variety of high tech technology fields selects finalists and winners based on the amount of innovation, a substantial advance in technology over what was previously available, and a great potential for commercial success.
The Virtual EDucation System is an integrated suite of Web-based software applications that supports communication, collaboration and continuous improvement within the Connected Learning Community. For the first time, educators are able to use online, real-time information to improve their instructional practices. This standards-based educational system measures student achievement and promotes a culture of school accountability.
